Caramel Cake (Kue Sarang Semut)
100 gr butter / margarine, melt
200 gr flour
225 ml sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon seasoning spekuk
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
350 gr sugar
250 ml hot water
1. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices spekuk and salt, stir well, then sift. Set aside.
2. Caramel: sugar cook until charred (brown) on medium heat. Then pour the hot water and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove and chill.
3. Cake: Beat eggs with whisk / fork, stir until well blended eggs. Enter the flour mixture and caramel until blended. Then add the melted butter alternately with sweetened condensed milk, stirring continued until well blended and smooth.
4. Pour the batter into the pan which was smeared with butter and bake at a temperature of 175 ° C for 40 minutes until cooked.
